True Corporation’s Vision for Innovation

True Corporation, a prominent technology firm in Thailand, is shaping solutions to address pressing social challenges with its “Tech for Good” approach. The company’s mission aims to integrate empathy, data-driven insights, and advanced technology to create sustainable benefits for society.

Innovative Solutions in Action

Mitigating Human-Wildlife Conflicts

With Thailand’s wild elephant population set to rise 8% in 2024, True Corporation introduced the True Smart Early Warning System. This solution, powered by AI, 5G, and camera traps, alerts communities of approaching elephants via the Smart Adventure app. Collaboration with the Department of National Parks and WWF Thailand since 2018 has reduced conflicts by over 73%.

Empowering Individuals with Autism

True partnered with the Autistic Thai Foundation to create the Autistic Application, which supports skill development in communication, learning, and daily routines. Available in Thai, English, and Chinese, the app has seen 19 million downloads globally and significant user improvements.

Helping Seniors Stay Safe

The “Hai Mai Huang” QR code wristbands, designed for individuals with dementia, have helped reunite 40 missing people with their families over the past four years.

Customer Service Transformation

The AI-powered Mali system revolutionizes True’s customer support by handling over 2 million queries monthly with a 90% resolution rate. Initially voice-based, Mali now supports multiple channels like chat and apps, ensuring seamless assistance and reducing the burden on human agents.

Fostering a Culture of Innovation

True nurtures creativity through three initiatives:

  • Closed Innovation: Encourages employees to improve products and services.
  • Open Innovation: Partners with academic and business experts for collaborative solutions.
  • Startups: Supports young entrepreneurs to create impactful businesses.

Over the last three years, True employees developed more than 600 innovations, gaining recognition for 4,000 staff as innovators. By 2030, True aims to have 50% of its team innovating and secure 200 patents, advancing societal and technological progress.
