Brighton College and Mahidol University Forge Path for Music Education Collaboration
Efforts focus on enriching music education for students.
Brighton College Bangkok’s leadership team, led by Chair of the Board of Governors Khun Nusara (Assakul) Banyatpiyaphod and Head Master Mr. Nick Gallop, recently visited Mahidol University’s College of Music. They were warmly received by Dr. Narong Prangcharoen, Dean of the College of Music, and Mr. Richard Ralphs, Associate Dean for Concert Hall Management and Head of the Young Artists Music Program (YAMP).
The visit aimed to explore Mahidol’s acclaimed music facilities, resources, and teaching methods, providing inspiration for Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi’s upcoming launch. The team gained insight into Mahidol’s world-class approach to fostering a vibrant and dynamic musical environment, with hopes to incorporate similar standards into their own curriculum.
Discussions during the visit revealed opportunities for collaboration in music education between Brighton College and Mahidol University. Both institutions are committed to advancing excellence in music education, and potential joint programs could create unique learning opportunities for students.
