TAP Celebrates Triple Win in National Sustainability Awards

Thai Asia Pacific Brewery earns top awards from three Thai ministries, recognized for excellence in sustainability, energy efficiency, and workplace safety.

Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co., Ltd. (TAP) has strengthened its commitment to sustainability with three major awards, aligning with its Brew a Better World initiative. TAP received honors from key government bodies, including the Green Industry Level 4: Green Culture award from the Ministry of Industry, the Energy Beyond Standards 2024 certificate from the Ministry of Energy’s Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, and a Zero Accident Campaign Honorary Plaque from the Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (TOSH), Ministry of Labour.

Green Industry – Level 4: Fostering Environmental Culture and Community Partnership

TAP has progressed to the Green Industry Level 4: Green Culture certification, reflecting its focus on embedding environmental responsibility into corporate culture. This recognition is a step forward from previous achievements at Green Industry Levels 1 through 3, each representing TAP’s environmental advancements:

• Level 1 – Green Commitment: Shows dedication through defined policies aimed at reducing environmental impact.
• Level 2 – Green Activity: Highlights active initiatives to lessen environmental footprint.
• Level 3 – Green System: Establishes structured management and ongoing environmental assessments.

Earning Level 4 reflects TAP’s efforts to incorporate environmental stewardship into daily operations and foster sustainable partnerships with surrounding communities.

Energy Conservation Recognition: Energy Beyond Standards 2024

As a leader in energy-efficient practices, TAP earned a place among 75 organizations in the Ministry of Energy’s energy conservation network. The Energy Beyond Standards 2024 certification highlights TAP’s role as a model of energy efficiency. Through projects like Brewed by the Sun—a 1.2-megawatt solar farm launched in 2022 covering 10 rai—TAP has worked to replace up to 30% of its energy needs with solar power, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable production.

Safety at Work: Zero Accident Campaign 2024

Safety is a key focus at TAP, demonstrated by the brewery’s participation in the Zero Accident Campaign organized by TOSH. TAP earned a Bronze Level Honorary Plaque for 2024, awarded to workplaces achieving zero accident-related absences with accumulated working hours of 1,000,000–2,999,999. This recognition underscores TAP’s commitment to maintaining a safe, accident-free workplace for its employees.
