The iconic Siam Motors Building in central Bangkok is undergoing a transformation into Siam Pan Pacific, a luxury hotel set to open in 2027. This ambitious project marks a major step for Siam Motors Group, venturing into hospitality by partnering with Singapore’s Pan Pacific Hotels Group, a leading operator of hotels and resorts across more than 30 cities globally.
Siam Pan Pacific will emerge as a modern, 18-storey landmark on Rama I Road, opposite the National Stadium. Originally built in 1986, the Siam Motors Building has been part of Bangkok’s skyline for over 35 years. Renowned design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates is redesigning the structure, turning it into a state-of-the-art destination for luxury tourism in the Pathumwan area.
This collaboration marks the first alliance between Siam Motors Company Limited, a business with over 72 years of legacy in Thailand, and Pan Pacific Hotels Group. With Bangkok anticipating a doubling of international tourists by 2027, the hotel aligns with Thailand’s tourism development plans, offering an ideal location and exceptional facilities to cater to high-end travellers.
According to Mr. Prakasit Phornprapha, President of Siam Motors Company Limited, the partnership is a transformative step: “This project not only revitalizes a prime location but also sets a new benchmark for hospitality in Bangkok. We are committed to delivering a world-class experience that will attract local and international guests.”
Siam Pan Pacific will offer 220 luxurious rooms ranging from 37 to 163 square meters, featuring panoramic city views. Guests will enjoy top-tier amenities, including a 24-hour fitness and yoga centre, a swimming pool, steam rooms, saunas, and versatile meeting spaces for business and social events. Its central location ensures easy access to shopping malls, museums, entertainment venues, and the BTS Skytrain.
Scheduled for completion in 2027, Siam Pan Pacific promises to redefine Bangkok’s hospitality scene, establishing itself as a premier destination for global tourists and business travellers alike.
