Anglo Singapore School Marks 21 Years with Cambridge Awards and Innovative Education

Celebrating academic excellence and launching future-ready programs, Anglo Singapore earns top Cambridge honors and unveils new facilities.

Anglo Singapore International School celebrated its 21st anniversary with impressive achievements at the 2024 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards. A standout student, Nonthapat Upariputtanggoon, won the prestigious “Best Across Three” award for the highest A Level scores. Currently studying Engineering at the University of Cambridge, he was recognized as the top A Level performer by Cambridge International Education.

In addition, the school received seven other awards:

Top in the World: A Level Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and IGCSE Foreign Language Mandarin Chinese
Top in Thailand: A Level Biology
High Achievement: A Level Psychology and AS Level Further Mathematics

Over the past ten graduating classes, Anglo Singapore students have consistently won Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards. The school has transitioned from its STEM focus to a STEAM-B model, incorporating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Business. This approach blends creativity with business knowledge, preparing students for success in diverse fields.

The Anglo Pathway Programme, designed to support student aspirations, features a 1:10 mentor-student ratio. It provides guidance across five key pathways: Medicine and Life Sciences, Engineering and Sciences, Behavioral Sciences and Commerce, Art & Design, and Computer Science. This initiative ensures tailored mentorship for every student.

Graduates of Anglo Singapore pursue diverse fields, with 33% in Medicine, 33% in Behavioral Science and Commerce, 19% in Engineering and Sciences, 10% in Computer Science, and 5% in Art & Design.

Marking the anniversary, the school unveiled its six-story Building H. The facility includes modern learning studios, science labs, a study hall, and redesigned common areas. The gymnasium features courts for basketball, badminton, and volleyball, along with a running track, promoting both academic and physical development.

The school’s 2Ps philosophy—Pedagogy and Physical Space—guides its teaching. Lessons focus on interactive, student-centered learning, combining instruction, application, and reflection for a holistic education experience.

An exclusive event, “Experience Senior School: Understanding the Path to Academic Excellence,” will take place on November 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Visitors can tour the facilities, meet faculty, and explore academic pathways.
