Celebrate New Year with Star Performances and Dazzling Fireworks in Bangkok’s Iconic Landmark

CentralWorld is gearing up for its highly anticipated Bangkok Countdown 2025, promising an electrifying celebration that strengthens its reputation as the “Times Square of Asia.” The event has been a favourite for over 20 years, drawing crowds from Thailand and beyond to ring in the New Year.

A Global Showcase of Thai Festivities

The “CentralWorld Bangkok Countdown 2025 – The Original” promises unmatched excitement and grandeur. For the sixth year, images from the celebration will light up New York’s Times Square, showcasing Thailand’s cultural vibrancy on the global stage. Performances by top Thai artists, including PP-Krit, Billkin-Putthipong, Zee Pruk, NuNew Chawarin, and CentralWorld Countdown Angels, will highlight the event.

Entertainment and Visual Delights

Held at Ratchaprasong, the venue accommodates over 250,000 attendees, offering an atmosphere akin to international music festivals. The countdown will feature digital fireworks on the massive PanOramix screen, delivering a visual spectacle. Inspirational messages addressing global challenges will add a thoughtful dimension to the celebration.

The 2025 countdown also extends festivities to Singapore, Malaysia, and Laos, reinforcing CentralWorld’s influence across Asia and beyond.

Convenient Access and Live Streaming Options

CentralWorld prioritises accessibility and convenience. Registration is free through the Central X app. BTS services will operate until 2:00 AM, and free shuttle buses will run from Victory Monument to CentralWorld. Parking spaces for 6,000 cars and 1,500 motorcycles are available.

For those unable to attend in person, the event will be broadcast live on Channel 3HD from 10:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Streaming starts at 5:00 PM on Facebook Live and YouTube Live via CentralWorld’s official channels. Major platforms like FEED, GMM 25, Khaosod, Prachachat Turakij, Matichon, Workpoint, and Manager Online will also share the event.

Citywide Celebrations and Countdown Highlights

The final 15-minute countdown moments will be displayed at key Bangkok locations, including AiA Tower, Nana Intersection, Din Daeng, Surasak Intersection, Si Rat Expressway, and Chidlom Intersection. Additional viewing points include Astera Hotel Sathorn, Serm-Mit Tower at Asok, and Pratunam Intersection.

Festivities are not limited to Bangkok. Celebrations will also take place at Central venues across Thailand, such as Central Chiangmai, Central Pattaya, Central Korat, Central Phuket, and Central Hatyai. Each venue will stream the event on its Facebook page.
