Collaborative Efforts to Boost Thailand’s AI Ecosystem

True Internet Data Center (True IDC), part of the Charoen Pokphand Group (CP), has partnered with Siam AI Corporation (SIAM.AI CLOUD), Thailand’s first NVIDIA Cloud Partner, to drive the nation’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. This collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), seeks to enhance digital infrastructure and establish Thailand as a leading AI hub in Southeast Asia.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Thanasorn Jaidee, President of True IDC, and Mr. Ratanaphon Wongnapachant, CEO of SIAM.AI CLOUD, in the presence of CP Group leaders, including Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Mr. Supakit Chearavanont, and Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, along with NVIDIA CEO and Founder, Mr. Jensen Huang.

Transforming AI Development in Thailand

The partnership focuses on developing high-performance data centres, creating large language models (LLMs), and offering accessible AI services. These efforts aim to benefit industries, government systems, and research organisations.

Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont emphasised the importance of the collaboration in accelerating Thailand’s transition into the AI era. Mr. Thanasorn Jaidee highlighted the integration of NVIDIA’s technology to establish globally competitive AI-ready data centres. Mr. Ratanaphon Wongnapachant reiterated the goal of delivering impactful AI solutions to key economic sectors.
