Selection Criteria Announced for Outstanding Children and Youth of 2025

Bangkok, Thailand – The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has officially announced the criteria for selecting the Outstanding Children and Youth of 2025, as well as Children and Youth Who Bring Fame to the Country. This initiative aims to recognize and celebrate young individuals who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and contributions to society.

Seventeen esteemed organizations and government agencies have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the selection process. These include the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, among others.

Eligibility and Selection Process:

  1. Outstanding Children and Youth
    Selection will be carried out by a panel of experts from 17 organizations, covering sectors such as education, culture, labor, and sports. Each organization will identify candidates who exhibit excellence in their respective fields.

  2. Children and Youth Who Bring Fame to the Country
    Candidates may be nominated through two channels:

    • Self-Nomination: Interested applicants can submit their forms in person to the Children’s Affairs Division, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, located at the Department of Children’s and Youth Affairs, Office Building 3, 1st Floor. Applications are accepted from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
    • Postal Application: Applications can also be submitted via Thailand Post. Applicants must clearly mark the envelope with either “Application for Outstanding Children and Youth” or “Application for Children and Youth Who Bring Fame to the Country.” The deadline for all applications is October 18, 2024.

Application Period: The application submission window is open from September 23, 2024, until October 18, 2024.

This selection process is a crucial opportunity to highlight the talent, hard work, and potential of Thailand’s youth, who are poised to make significant impacts both locally and globally.
