Riverside Street Food Festival Returns to Shangri-La Bangkok
Michelin-rated hawkers and local chefs offer a night of culinary delights by the Chao Phraya River.
The much-loved “Raan Dung Ross Ded” festival is set to transform Shangri-La Bangkok’s poolside into a bustling night market this December. Now in its 21st year, the event combines the charm of Bangkok’s famous street food with the elegance of riverside dining.
Michelin-recognised eateries such as Mr. Jo’s Kuay Jup, Charoen Saeng Silom’s stewed pork knuckle, and Prince’s Jok rice porridge headline the festival. These popular street food dishes will be served alongside creations from the hotel’s culinary team. Highlights include Chef Yanavit Theerasomboonkun’s signature Phad Thai, Australian beef Pho Bo, premium BBQ combination rice from Shang Palace, and classic fish and chips.
The event offers more than food, with local artisans showcasing their crafts and live music creating a vibrant atmosphere. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the illuminated Chao Phraya River, making it a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts.
Dessert options include traditional Thai shaved ice and fresh coconut ice cream. The evening also features a lucky draw, adding a touch of excitement.
Scheduled for Saturday, 7 December 2024, from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, the buffet is priced at 749 baht for adults, with half-price tickets for children aged 6–12 years. An optional beverage package is available.
