Jaspal Group Celebrates Creativity with 2024 Scholarship Winners
Emerging Thai designers showcase innovative collections and earn recognition through the Jaspal Group Scholarship Programme.
Jaspal Group highlighted its commitment to fashion innovation with the 2024 Scholarship Programme. Alongside awarding scholarships, the group hosted a vibrant runway show under the theme The Power of Next, featuring the fresh creations of this year’s winners.
The scholarship programme offers over 650,000 THB in financial support, internships with top designers, and personalized coaching to enhance industry knowledge. Each of the five recipients received 100,000 THB, along with the chance to compete for an additional scholarship of 150,000 THB. The fashion show displayed their forward-thinking collections, judged on creativity, practicality, visual appeal, and presentation.
2024 Scholarship Recipients
The programme awarded scholarships to:
- Khwankhao Phanphitthayut and Chatchai Sriprempun (Chulalongkorn University)
- Piyabud Waleekeitikul and Nichapat Kaewthamrong (Srinakharinwirot University)
- Mild Phrueksakitcharoen (Thammasat University)
Award-Winning Collection
The top prize of 150,000 THB went to Piyabud Waleekeitikul for Active Resurrection. Designed for CPS Chaps, this collection reimagines 1980s sportswear for 2050. Inspired by WGSN’s Men’s Active Retro 2025, the collection integrates natural and synthetic materials for durability and comfort, aligning with CPS Chaps’ signature grunge-inspired style.
Other Scholarship Designs
- Khwankhao Phanphitthayut presented Bureau Lounge A/W 2025 for Jaspal, a womenswear line blending timeless sustainability with Robust Luxury and Intelligent Simplicity, influenced by Sergio Rodrigues’ designs.
- Chatchai Sriprempun created ROCKS SS 2025 for CPS Chaps, combining denim durability and modular elements inspired by nature and music.
- Nichapat Kaewthamrong showcased Modern Euphoria, a bold collection for Jaspal that bridges femininity and masculinity through textured contrasts, empowering individuality.
- Mild Phrueksakitcharoen designed Infinite Bloom for Lyn Around, inspired by Aganisia Cyanea Orchids, with playful floral patterns and breathable fabrics like cotton and organdy.
