IRPC and PTTLNG Partner to Drive Carbon Material Innovations for Industrial Advancements

IRPC Public Co., Ltd., led by President and CEO Kris Imsang, and PTTLNG Co., Ltd., represented by Acting President Rattikool Piyavongwanich, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on advancing carbon material innovations in the petrochemical sector.

This partnership will facilitate the exchange of technical expertise, academic insights, and research data to support commercial development of carbon materials.

The MoU signing took place in the Suanson Room at the Energy Complex Building B, with key figures including Anucha Somjitchob, Executive Vice President of IRPC Innovation Center, and Somchai Ramart, Executive Vice President of Engineering and Maintenance at PTTLNG Co., Ltd.

Carbon materials, known for their strength, conductivity, and lightness, are being recognised as essential for future industrial applications. Their use spans a variety of fields, from electronics and batteries to plastic compounds, tyres, and cement.

The collaboration seeks to optimise product structures, improve efficiencies, and open new avenues for business expansion through innovative carbon material applications.
