Globo Foods Celebrates 50 Years with a Mission to Improve Lives and Sustainability

Globo Foods commemorates its 50th anniversary

Globo Foods commemorates its 50th anniversary by funding healthcare improvements for children and driving sustainability through ESG practices.

Globo Foods Ltd., the owner of Thailand’s leading seasoning brand “Lobo,” marks its 50th year with the launch of the “Everlasting Love of Taste” project. The initiative reflects the company’s dedication to Thai society by combining community support and sustainable business operations. To celebrate this milestone, the company allocated 250,000 THB to renovate an infectious disease examination room at the Children’s Hospital Foundation, ensuring advanced medical care for young patients.

For decades, Globo Foods has prioritised quality products while embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into its operations. This commitment has shaped its role as a leader in the food industry and a promoter of societal progress.

Supporting Healthcare for Thai Children

The Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health plays a critical role in treating children suffering from serious infections, including tuberculosis, COVID-19, and influenza. Recognising the need for specialised facilities, Globo Foods funded the renovation of an examination room to provide safer, modern treatment environments. Advanced features like negative and positive pressure air systems were included to enhance safety and hygiene.

This project not only improves current patient care but also equips the hospital to manage future health challenges. The updated facility integrates modern medical technology, ensuring long-term benefits for paediatric patients.

ESG at the Core of Globo Foods

Globo Foods has upheld sustainability and social responsibility for 50 years. Its ESG initiatives encompass environmental stewardship, community support, and transparent business practices.

Environmental Initiatives

The company reduces its reliance on fossil fuels by integrating solar energy into production processes. Factories in Samut Prakan and Suphanburi collectively generate over 1,500 kW of clean energy. High-tech farming methods and wastewater treatment further reinforce its commitment to environmental care.
