Bangkok Bank is empowering SMEs to integrate AI into their businesses by hosting intensive tutoring courses led by Dr. Winn Voravuthikunchai, founder of “BOTNOI” and a renowned data scientist. The initiative aims to help SMEs reduce costs and potentially double their profits, reinforcing the Bank’s position as a trusted partner dedicated to enhancing SMEs’ knowledge and capital to improve competitiveness in the digital landscape.

Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj, Executive Director of Bangkok Bank, emphasized the importance of AI in addressing business challenges effectively. He noted that the current business climate necessitates adaptation, particularly through AI and Big Data, which will play a pivotal role in the near future. Recently, the Bank hosted a seminar titled “How Data Analytics & AI Create Changes for Society and SMEs,” focusing on the practical applications of AI and Big Data.

Dr. Pichet stated, “AI is already transforming various industries, from healthcare to manufacturing and agriculture. However, many SMEs may not yet envision how to apply these technologies. As a trusted partner, Bangkok Bank aims to provide insights that inspire entrepreneurs to navigate their future business landscapes.”

In addition to educational support, Bangkok Bank offers tailored financial services for SMEs seeking to invest in transformation. This includes the newly launched Bualuang Green Financing initiative, which features attractive interest rates and repayment terms of up to eight years. The program focuses on three key areas: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, adapting to climate change, and minimizing pollution, with a loan facility of up to 10 billion baht allocated for these projects.

Dr. Winn Voravuthikunchai highlighted that openness to learning and understanding data collection processes are crucial for entrepreneurs. He explained that tools, including AI, can streamline data management and lead to timely, precise solutions. Simple solutions, such as leveraging Google Maps, can significantly enhance consumer access for businesses.

“By adopting data analytics and AI, SMEs can significantly lower costs and boost profits, which is vital for competitiveness,” Dr. Winn added.

Bangkok Bank offers various loan services designed to support businesses transitioning to sustainable models:
