Chiang Mai hosts a dance event supporting education and healthcare for orphaned and vulnerable children.

The Youth Help Youth Project showcased the Aladdin 2024 dance performance on December 15, 2024, at the Chiang Mai University Convention Center. The event aimed to raise funds for Chalermprakiet 48th Pansa School, which provides education and healthcare to orphaned children under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

The event highlighted the impact of youth-driven initiatives in supporting community development through performing arts. Proceeds from the performance will go towards improving the school’s education and healthcare programs.

Major sponsors included The Government Lottery Office, Taokaenoi Food & Marketing PCL, The Oasis Spa Thailand, The Podology Center, ThaiLionAir, Kenber Geotechnic (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Dr. MomLuang Preeyapun Sridhavat of the ATOD Children and Youth Development Association.

The performance featured young dancers such as Patchisa Pakdeewong, Ramon Chuajedton, Trong Rattanadumrongaksorn, Timarin Wing Holmes, and Wuttipong Mongkolphan. These performers represented Bangkok City Ballet and Passion Dance School. Local dancers from Chiang Mai Ballet Academy, the city’s only Royal award-winning dance school, also participated, joined by honorary performer Pakin Ploypicha.
