Experience the Wonders of Chiang Rai Balloon Fiesta 2025

Join Southeast Asia’s biggest balloon festival with vibrant hot air balloons, live music, and cultural showcases this February.

Chiang Rai’s skies will light up from February 13-17, 2025, as Singha Park hosts the International Balloon Fiesta, ASEAN’s largest hot air balloon festival. Over 30 balloons from 13 countries will decorate the sky, creating a colorful visual spectacle.

The seventh edition of this celebrated event offers a mix of unique attractions. A highlight is the “Love Balloon” activity, where 15 couples will enjoy romantic flights over Chiang Rai’s scenic landscapes. Adventure lovers can compete for a 100,000-baht prize in the international balloon competition, while spectators can witness stunning light-and-sound balloon displays.

Cultural performances will also take center stage. A Khon performance of the Ramayana, featuring 160 performers from Wang Na and Chiang Rai, promises to mesmerize audiences.

Adding to the excitement, popular Thai artists, including BODYSLAM, MILLI, THE TOYS, and PARADOX, will perform nightly, bringing energy and music to the festival.

New this year, Chiang Rai Brewtopia will welcome coffee enthusiasts with specialty brews, complementing the cool February weather. Families can explore the kids’ zone, enjoy local food, or participate in workshops. Thrill-seekers can explore Singha Park’s outdoor attractions like ATV rides, zip-lining, flower fields, and tea plantations.
