Chevron Contributes to Flood Relief in Southern Thailand

Flood Relief

Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., represented by Vice President of Corporate Affairs Pornsuree Konanta, donated 666,806 baht to the Thai Red Cross Society. Janprapa Vichitcholchai, Deputy Director of the Fund-Raising Bureau, accepted the funds to support flood relief in southern Thailand, where heavy rains since November 2024 have caused significant damage. Affected provinces include Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Satun, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat.

This donation was made under the decade-long “Chevron Humankind” initiative, which encourages employees to support charitable organisations. Chevron matches employee contributions at a 2:1 ratio. This year’s matched donations were directed toward the Thai Red Cross Society to assist flood victims in the region.

In December, Chevron also donated 100,000 baht to the Nakhon Si Thammarat Journalists Association. These funds support the Pracha Ruamchai Foundation’s efforts to deliver food and water to those affected by the flooding in Nakhon Si Thammarat, ensuring urgent aid reaches those in need.
