Creative Leaders Shine at Thailand’s CE Awards 2024
Recognising Thai innovators driving sustainable societal, economic, and environmental progress through creativity.
The Creative Economy Agency (CEA) celebrated Thai innovators at the 2024 Creative Excellence Awards, recognising projects that influence society, the economy, and the environment.
Marking its second year, the CE Awards highlighted achievements in three categories: Creative City Awards, Creative Business Awards, and Creative Social Impact Awards. A total of 15 awards were given for 18 outstanding projects showcasing Thai talent in innovation and value creation.
The ceremony took place on October 29, 2024, in the Grand Ballroom of Capella Hotel, Bangkok. Deputy Prime Minister Prasert Chantararuangthong and CEA Executive Director Chakrit Pichyangkul led the event.
Deputy Prime Minister Prasert underscored creativity’s critical role in human development and problem-solving. He said it drives valuable, high-quality work that meets modern needs. He also highlighted the awards’ impact on promoting Thai soft power and boosting Thailand’s creative economy.
Executive Director Chakrit stated the awards aim to celebrate Thailand’s cultural and creative assets. He emphasized that creativity fuels innovation and supports long-term economic and social growth.
Recognised projects included initiatives in community restoration, sustainable business practices, and inclusive design. They demonstrated the far-reaching potential of creativity to transform lives and industries.
