UNICEF Introduces “Box of Life” to Help Children in Need
Life-saving kits designed to support children in crises globally, part of UNICEF’s “A Better Tomorrow Today” campaign.
UNICEF Thailand has launched the “Box of Life” campaign, urging donations to provide critical aid for children in crises. This initiative, part of the broader “A Better Tomorrow Today” program, focuses on supporting underprivileged children with essential items for health, nutrition, education, and disaster relief.
The “Box of Life” includes life-saving supplies like vaccines, therapeutic food, hygiene kits, water purification tablets, and educational materials.
These kits address immediate needs while fostering growth and resilience in challenging circumstances. By supporting this campaign, individuals can help secure safety, health, and opportunities for vulnerable children worldwide.
Prominent figures like UNICEF Thailand Goodwill Ambassador Madame Pang Nualphan Lamsam, actors James Jirayu Tangsrisuk and Chakrit Yamnam, and badminton star Porpor Supisara Paewsampran have joined the cause. They emphasized the importance of collective efforts to improve children’s futures through donations and awareness.
UNICEF Thailand Representative Ms. Kyungsun Kim highlighted the urgency of addressing global child crises, stating that the “Box of Life” provides more than essentials—it symbolizes hope and brighter possibilities.
To spread the message, UNICEF released a “Box of Life” video on BTS Skytrain networks in Bangkok. The campaign also features “Train to the Future,” an activity transforming train cars into art galleries with children’s creations that reflect dreams of a safer world.
