Russian officials explore Thainakarin’s advanced cancer care and patient-focused services

Thainakarin Hospital recently welcomed a delegation from Russia, led by public health officials, economic executives, doctors, and hospital directors, to discuss potential patient referral partnerships.

The visit, guided by Clinical Prof. Dr. Tipchart Punyaratabandhu, Hospital Director and Medical Director, and Dr. Watson Aphiwattanakoon, Administrative Director, focused on collaboration opportunities for advanced cancer treatment and other healthcare services.

During the visit, Thainakarin’s specialized cancer care team, including Dr. Arkom Cheirsilpa, Director of the Holistic Cancer Center, Dr. Chakkapong Chakkabat, Radiation Oncologist, and Dr. Puttiporn Naowaset, General and Oncologic Surgeon, provided detailed presentations. They outlined the hospital’s innovative cancer treatment methods and commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The delegation also toured key departments within Thainakarin, such as the Heart Center, Health Checkup Center, Breast Care Center, Brain and Nervous System Center, Emergency Department, and Delivery Room. The Russian team showed considerable interest in the hospital’s services and appreciated the informative exchanges with the Thai medical team.
